    Went there yesterday with my wife. The service was good, the chairs outside were very comfortable (like nice patio furniture) -- the fries were the highlight I thought -- nice and crispy, and fresh cut. My wifes veggie burger was really good also. The santa fe burger I had was pretty good also. The fries were significantly better than the home-made potato chips (which were nice, but my wife and I shared some chips and some fries, and I found myself wishing for more fries, and not so worried about the chip quantity).

    The Good Thymes Bistro offers an inexpensive but decent menu and food. Housed in a strip mall across from the Smith's supermarket in Kimbell Junction, it offers table and counter seating. A nice touch is the use of large linen napkins! Menu ranges from burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and entrees ranging from about $12 to $18. Burgers and sandwiches are mostly $9-$10 and are served with a generous amount of excellent homemade potato chips. Fries or a salad can be added for $2. A welcome lower cost choice in the Kimbell Junction area! Breakfast served on weekends only.

    Ate here my first day in Utah and the food was great and the way the restaraunt is decorated is different and cool. My only complaint is that it took us 30 minutes to get our food. Otherwise a great experience and good food.

    Ate there several times (at the old location) and decided not to come back. Why? It's terrible overpriced, even for Park City. For a decidedly average egg breakfast and coffee you cannot escape for less than $15 per person. Want steak with your eggs?? .. then you are looking at nearly $20 per person.

    Will the employees and friends who have posted raving reviews please be honest and take them down. Sparky, you had clams here? yeah, ok. I came in on a Monday evening and grabbed a seat by their "bar", overlooking the kitchen. As it had an open view of the kitchen, it was like watching a Food Network show. So here we go: Spicy chipotle soup was very good, but at $4 for a cup, it is way overpriced. The cup hold about 6oz of soup. Followed that with buffalo wings. A large portion, so I left a few behind. Great taste, served with carrots and celery, but no blue cheese or ranch dressing? For an entree, I went with the Philly cheese steak sandwich. After watching the food prep, I knew that this was not the place to order ribs,steak, fish,etc. The portion was tiny for $12. Not to mention that the cheese on it was partially melted American cheese slices. Are you kidding? All the food is prepared by 2 Hispanic guys, who go back and forth throughout the area. They seem to have it down to a science, with little communication between them to get the food out of the kitchen. Anthony Bourdain was right in writing as to who really cooks all the food in America. (Nothing negative here, just a fact) So here is what I saw from my vantage point: Bag of frozen mac and cheese thrown into boiling water for a kids meal. Frozen salmon fillets moved from one freezer to another (closer to cooking area). Frozen/refrigirated uniform burger patties on the grill. Well you get the idea. They basically knock out meals out of this kitchen, without actually cooking anything. I did not see any fresh sauce on the stove for the pasta entries. They appear to grab purchased frozen or refrigerated ingredients and throwing them into frying pans. Their in house made chips were cold and tasted like they were made much earlier in the day. There was no salt, no garlic or anything else that would have saved them by adding some actual flavor. Sorry guys, but this place is at best 2 stars.

    I got the Jeremy Ranch Burger and it was cooked perfectly. It said it had scallions in it but I couldn't taste it really. Service was the best part. Fast and friendly but not over the top coming to my table every 2 minutes. I'm definitely returning.

    After trying 25+ restaurants in the Park City area over the past six months, I decided it was time to write some reviews. I don't have a lot to say about this place. Everything falls into the category of perfectly acceptable, but nowhere near remarkable. One perk is that they have a large outside seating area on Newpark 'square,' which can be really pleasant on a summer day. Some people may like it, but I have no reason to return.

    This place was good. Their onion rings were awesome! We ordered two appetizers and they both came our plenty early. The Mac and cheese was good but I think I would like to try something more next time. I liked our waitress she was prompt and on time. She was great at refilling the water and letting us know when the food will be out. Overall I liked this place and will come back next time I'm in town.

    Came here for breakfast and it's one of the worst I've had. My husband and I were the first customers of the day and the place was empty. That should have been our first sign. We ordered two eggs with corn beef hash and a scrambler with onions, mushrooms and spinach. They don't include toast....there's an extra charge for it but they do include bisquits. They also charged $1.95 to sub fruit for potatoes. My scrambler was way over cooked and actually burnt on the bottom (see pic). There's nothing worse than burnt eggs. For $11 it was a really small serving. The $1.95 worth of fruit amounted to a few pineapple slices with some unripe cantaloupe. My husband's "homemade" corned beef hash was basically potato hash with trace amounts of corned beef. They weren't busy and there was only one other customer. I definitely wouldn't recommend it and won't be going there again.

    This restaurant exceeds expectations in nearly every way. The food is excellent for its style and price, the staff is friendly and sincere and the restaurant is rarely crowded, a welcome change from the reservation-only panic that goes on during holiday weeks in park city. For our family, the highlight is always the 'make your own smores' dessert, served on the table with your own fire. from that item alone, you can probably guess the rest of the menu. And while the menu choices are fairly straight forward (home made biscuits, salads, burgers, sandwiches and fish) they are much better executed than you might imagine. I love this place. It is one of our favorite park city restaurants (although not in park city strictly speaking) and we have eaten at all the best restaurants in town. As others have noted, this restaurant is in an unassuming strip mall near whole foods near the interstate.

    Breakfast is terrible. I've been twice for breakfast, once for dinner. The first time I ordered the belgian waffle with a side of fruit. They had only fake maple syrup. Enough said. The second time I order 2 eggs over easy with smoked salmon. The egg whites were runny on the top and the "smoked salmon".... well the smoked salmon was the size of a deck of cards, and was grilled, farmed, Atlantic salmon- underseasoned, overcooked, and dry. Definitely not smoked salmon, and unfortunately an insult to food lovers. The first time I went, the biscuits were fine, fresh, fluffy, and soft, while the second time they were dry as if they had been sitting in a warmer for far too long. And the hash browns... your better off going to the Eggs in the City where you can get some properly seasoned, hot, and crusty hash browns. Not these limp, half warm soggy threads. Dinner was better, so if you must go, go for dinner. I got the ribs which were decent enough, though not spectacular. Hate to be such a hater, but this place is not worth your money. Go to Maxwell's next door.

    Cute place, good food, but I'd hesitate to call it "inexpensive." Maybe it's because the sandwich I was most interested in (a BLT with grilled salmon) was about $16-- I just thought it was a little pricey for lunch. I ended up settling on the Southern BBQ Pork sandwich, which was really good-- tons of meat smothered in a really complex sweet BBQ sauce and topped with blue cheese slaw. Even though the sandwiches are a bit pricey, they're easily large enough to share. The homemade chips were good, but not seasoned-- if I were to go again, I'd probably try the hand cut fries.

    Great lunch after nearby movie. Attentive waitress. Chicken pot pie got raves from the 16 yr old. Wonderful fish tacos and the mediterranean chicken was very flavorful. Pricey but enjoyable. Thank Yelpers for your input!

    Anytime there is no one in a restaurant at 6:00 pm on a Saturday night in Park City, it is a good bet to stay away. Unfortunately, we went in. $65.00 later for two. Too, much.

    Starting with the good...the server was nice. That's all. The food is probably some of the worst we have ever had. The "Jumbo wings" were the smallest and most over cooked hen jerky sticks I've ever had! The Texas brisket sandwich was flavorless and tough to chew. The BBQ sauce was a poor mixture of what tasted like ketchup and grape jelly. My girlfriend found what appeared to be a worm halfway into her salad, but the server politely said it was probably a sautéed onion even though there were no sautéed onions supposed to be on the salad. The home cut fries honestly tasted and looked like they were from Wendy's, but thrown in a fryer a second time to heat them up, but they still came out cold. The server didn't ask how everything was, cause I'm pretty sure she knew the answer and wasn't surprised that we didn't want a box to take the rest home. She was sweet to knock 10% off the salad though..."for grossing us out." We were too tired and hungry to throw a fit, so we left. We will just have to stick to the tried and true from now on rather than going off the beaten path to try something new. You're better off at Wendy's for the mere fact that they only fry the fries once and they're always hot. Step it up Good Thymes, Park City has a good reputation for great food.

    I work in Redstone Center and I've been on a mission to try every restaurant in the area. Check out my profile for more reviews. I've been to Good Thymes twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch I ordered a Philly cheese steak. It tasted OK, but was literally oozing with grease. I had a big pool of grease in my plate after I was done eating - not exactly appetizing. (If you're looking for an excellent cheesesteak, check out Maxwells next door). My lunch mate ordered pasta and said it was very good. For dinner I ordered a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce while the rest of my party ordered burgers. Everyone enjoyed what they were eating but no one was wowed. On the bright side the service here is generally excellent but that may be because the restaurant is always strangely empty.

    This place was awful. We came on a Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. and ordered french toast and pancakes at 8:45. Like other reviewers, we had to ask twice for our coffee to be brought out, and it tasted terrible when it finally did arrive. At 9:20 our food still hadn't arrived. There were only a few people in the restaurant so it was a mystery to us why the food hadn't arrived yet. So we paid for the coffee and left after waiting 40 minutes for French toast in a nearly empty restaurant.

    Sometimes, you need to ignore negative reviews (which are years old) and venture into a place you haven't been to in years. I'm glad we did just that. First, Good Thymes is NOT over-priced for Park City. In fact, their prices are low in comparison to most others in PC, unless, of course, your burger comparison is a GMO laden generic burger at a ubiquitous chain. That said, I ordered the Rib Eye - most likely the most expensive menu item at a (sarcasm here) whopping $21. Cooked as I liked it, and flavorful. It was served with perfectly sautéed veggies: red onions, crisp carrots, zucchini...And, REAL mashed potatoes! Yup, real. The potatoes lacked seasoning, and I would have preferred a garlic mash, but nonetheless, they were fine. (I do think if they were laden w/butter, or garlic someone would complain. However, garlic mashers would be an awesome addition to the menu.) My dining partner ordered a Shrimp and grits plate - Southern Homeboy cooking - and declared it very good. And, since he's an awesome chef in his own kitchen, a declaration from him on Southern food as very good truly means it was very good. For dessert we ordered the banana cream pie. We chose it strictly because of the positive review posted - and we were not disappointed! This homemade, creamy, yummy, awesomely (is that a word?) light crusted pie was oh, so good. Decorated with drizzled ribbons of caramel syrup...Needless to say, it was a battle of the forks: his for two bites, mine for one (savor it, savor it); his goes down again, I better hurry...(savor it) dive that fork! The only thing I would do different here is to SOAK those nanas in RUM! And add rum to the drizzle. Our service, by Chad, was good. Attentive enough, water glasses refilled, good timing on checking on food (I was not mid-bite!), and seemed genuinely interested in our dining experience. Ambience and decor are great! Look at the IPhone photos posted. Clean, neat, colorful walls, silvery tables, way cool and apropos silverware chandelier... If you are in the Redstone area, don't want pizza or fast food, prefer ambiance to a noisy brewery, and don't feel like Italian, go here. And, if you are looking for the BEST banana cream pie EVER - definitely come here. In fact, I note they serve breakfast...perhaps a slice of that banana cream pie with coffee?

    Wow! It was a hassle to eat here. Menu clearly said free cheese and soda with lunch burger. Was charged for all of it, and was given a burger with only one slice of cheese and not two as ordered. Was told that "I ate it anyway" so was still going to be charged, after he stared down my burger to double check it indeed had only one slice. After pointing out the menu he finally conceded to take off only the drinks, still charged $3 over on only a $20 meal. Less than the original $7.50. Not that much, but the attitude put it over the top. This was after we were told we couldn't use yelp coupons at all followed by couldn't use them on split checks. There was only one other person in the place and the waiter still took about an hour and a half to serve us lunch. We also had about half our table with empty drinks before he refreshed them. The food itself was also nothing too special. Sort of bland and dry. Don't go here. There are no Good Times to be had here. PLENTY of other options at better food, service, and prices within a stones throw.

    Terrible food, painfully slow service topped off by a long strand of light colored hair entwined in my son's potatoes. Yuck! Huevos Rancheros was just awful with the beef chili looking and tasting frighteningly stale. Eggs Benedict and Belgian Waffle was nothing fantastic. Our coffees and water were never topped up, not even once. Scones, butter and jam that I assume was complimentary while we waited for our food was the only redeeming part of the experience, but not enough to make us return after this visit. This was the third time we visited... Second time for breakfast and once for lunch which was an hour and half disaster. The first breakfast was fine so I guess we thought we'd give them another go for breakfast. Never again! Your luck might see your visit fare better, though you'll not want to be in a rush for anything... and definitely never as a "before a movie" place to eat.

    The only good thyme we had was laughing at the terrible experience for the last couple hours. It should have been a red flag walking in, at the end of lunch time, only one other table was just finishing eating and the rest of the restaurant was empty. Believe the other reviews. Menu had a pretty decent selection of BBQ, salads, and burgers. I had the brisket and my wife and daughters ordered burgers. The others that were having lunch with us also ordered burgers. The menu advertised lunch specials and one was a burger "with or without cheese", fries, and a drink for $9. While ordering we showed the Yelp coupon to the waiter and he got the manager. She didn't look to thrilled about having to apply it to the order. A brief discussion came about that they couldn't split the check for the discount. They eventually gave the yelp coupon to us. Lunch came a while later and some of the burgers came with the wrong cheese and add-ons placed on the wrong plates. We made it due and since the waiter hadn't come back in awhile we swapped what we could. Most of the drinks on the table had gone dry and the waiter finally came over with the checks and while having to prompt him for refills we begin to notice discrepancies on our check. This is where the problem starts. Apparently when you want cheese on your burger and then order a side of blue cheese for your fries somehow is considered a substitute thus charging you for the full price of the meal which is about $14. The other party ordered add-ons to their burgers such as an extra piece of cheese and were charged full price also. When we brought the issues about the burgers and the about $5 per person extra cost to the attention of the waiter, he said we substituted our order and it clearly states that we can't on the menu. After showing him the order wasn't correct and we had to swap the food around the best we could, he said we should have told him, and because we ate most of it without getting his attention, he couldn't fix the bill. Didn't know why it was such a big deal to modify our ticket, but then was told the manager wasn't in the store and the bill couldn't be changed. He ended up subtracting our $3 sodas and made the bill closer to where it should have been. The food was just ok but the service sinks this place.

    It is hard to believe, but this was such a bad experience that we were laughing about it. It starts when we show up and only one other table is filled at noon. Should have been a sign of things to come. We were seated by a lady that I am guessing is the owner and provided with menus. Our waitress showed up fairly quickly and took our order. All seemed well, but still strange that it was so empty. After 40 minutes we asked where our food was and the waitress blamed the kitchen and basically said it was out of her control. I told her to let them know that we just need to know how long because we had to be somewhere and it had been 40 minutes. She got it and reported back that it would be another 5 minutes. After just under 10 minutes 3 out of 5 meals arrived. They forgot to make the other 2 and admitted so. Another 7 minutes and the kids meals arrived. It seems like the entire place is in a daze. The food quality was poor, at best. The fish tacos were shreds of fish with a tiny, tiny side of guac and even less pico. The taste was just like frozen leftovers. I ended up with an upset stomach from it. We also got a salad and it was better than poor, but no better than fair (2/5). The kids refused to eat their pasta and when I tried it got the impression that it was a reheat in the microwave. I don't know how this place survives. The positive reviews must be from friends and family. There are so many better places, including two restaurants just next door. Until the owner is ready to step up to the plate and admit all of the issues I would avoid this place at all costs. You are even better off at Whole Foods in the same center. My wife even thought that this would make a good episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

    I thought this place was great! We made a reservation for six but seven people showed up, then two more, then two more and then four more. So yes our party of six grew to 15 and the hostess and waitress were totally accommodating. We went for breakfast and I personally was impressed with how well our young waitress kept up with our growing group. When food came out and we had switched seats she didn't even get flustered and remembered who ordered what. She kept the water and coffee coming and brought out a huge variety of condiments without being asked. The food here was good here too. Not blow-your-mind awesome, but good. The biscuits were super tasty and a nice unexpected surprise. Everyone at my table ordered something different and all of it seemed to disappear so it must have been tasty. I had the Eggs Benedict and thought it was good, but certainly not the best I've had. Overall, a great experience.

    We ate here a few nights ago, the service was terrible and the food was worse, I should have known when we first walked in and it was empty but I thought we'd give it a try. We ordered ribs that tasted like cardboard and the salad had rotten lettuce. I took the ribs home to my dogs and the salad to my chickens. I'm so disappointed I really wanted it to be good, however don't waste your money!

    Had breakfast here on Saturday. It was very basic and nothing special. My wife had biscuits and gravy. It was more like one biscuit and some gravy. Her portion was not worth the $11 bucks they charge. I had a scrambler. It also was just ok. The kids had french toast. I was expecting a lot more, for the price and the presentation of the location in general. Should have gone to Kneaders next door.

    I'm just amazed this place is still open. After being shown to our table, I wondered if we were invisible as it took nearly 20 minutes before a very surprised waitress said to us, "Oh! Have I noticed you yet?" Uh no, you haven't. She took our order and we waited. And waited. And waited some more. Finally, the bus boy brought over our food that had sat out for so long, my eggs had developed a crust and the grease had begun to congeal on my bacon. My husband's breakfast was in the same condition but also had the additional honor (?) of being incomplete. We looked around for our waitress to no avail. In fact, with a half full restaurant, the only employees i saw were walking back and forth from the kitchen to back room. So confusing. I walked up to someone who looked somewhat in charge and told him we had been waiting for the last 35 minutes only to have subpar food brought to us. I told him we weren't waiting any longer nor were we going to attempt to even eat what was delivered to our table. He gave me a blank stare and walked away. Um....OK. During this time two other couples were sat and were apparently also invisible since the wait staff had also not even approached them. Another gentleman was desperately trying to flag someone down so he could pay his bill. Overall, an enormous waste of time.

    We went looking for Banana Cream Pie to celebrate a birthday and the pastry chef/owner, Elise, made one while we waited. It took about 30 minutes, during which time we watched some Olympics and enjoyed coffee and hot chocolate. The pie was delicious - andwho else makes a pie while you wait? Worth a visit!

    The worst service ever. I came here with my husband, daughter in law and two grand kids. The waitress took our order. We had to ask her for the appetizer because it was taking so long. We waited over an hour to get our food, and we had to go inside the restaurant to get a second waiter to bring out the order. The whole time we were waiting our waitress did not come out to apologize or offer us any more to drink! I finally complained. One of the servers said they would take something off our bill. Then my husband had to go in and ask for the bill since we were waiting an extraordinary amount of time for that! The food was good, but I could not believe the poor service. My grand kids are under 5 years old and it was very distressing to have to wait with them while the waitress was back in the bathroom snorting coke or whatever the hell she was doing. A group larger than ours came in about the same time, was served and left in a much shorter time than we were. What the hell? Really angry.

    This is a nice informal place for lunch away from the crowds of Main Street at the Red Stone shopping center next to the Newpark Hotel. There are lots of good burgers and sandwiches. The black 'n Bleu burger and pulled pork sandwich are excellent. Definitely get the homemade potato chips on the side. The Shades of Pale Ready to Fly Amber goes great with the pulled pork. Andrew, our server, did a great job at lunch today.

    The food was good, and the service was excellent. The kids got wax strings to play with instead of crayons - a great idea as they played with the strings off and on during the rest of our trip. Nothing really remarkable about this place, though - it's not really memorable as particularly great or bad. I'd go back if I were in the area, but I wouldn't seek it out specifically.

    This place serves overpriced, mediocre food. I had a grilled portobello sandwich that wasn't bad but at a $10 price tag left something to be desired. My wife had fish and chips. Three pieces of fish for $16?! My kids had Mac and cheese and a grilled cheese. Each for $6, not including sides or drink. A $6 grilled cheese? You're joking. Not gourmet mind you. We're talking Wonder bread Texas toast and Kraft singles style. I could've made the same thing at home for less than $1. All told I was in $50 plus tip for lunch. Skip this place and try Kneaders across the street, or Red Rock Grill around the corner.

    DO NOT try to use your Happening Book coupon here. They will not accept it!! That disappointment was quickly erased by the food and service. Our waiter was extremely attentive and very friendly! I had the Reuben sandwich and it was everything a Reuben should be (see picture). The marble rye was amazing, the thousand island was perfect and the meat and sauerkraut were both fantastic! My wife had the veggie sandwich and it was also very good. The clam chowder was among the best i have had... anywhere! LOTS OF CLAMS!! There were literally clams in every single bite and the flavor was wonderful. The homemade potato chips were also very very good. The prices were not bad, given the excellent quality and great service!

    I wanted to try the food--despite the ridiculous prices. After being seated and waiting for ten minutes for any interaction from the staff, we packed up and left. This place needs a floor manager that can direct the staff. On their own, they are fairly useless. I won't be back.

    After 25 minutes of neglect in the corner of this restaurant I decided to consult Yelp. To my horror I discover a long list of sub par reviews. Our table had a previously used napkin and egg caked on a fork. Like other patrons I had to request my coffee after waiting for quite some time. We ordered pancakes and after 40 minutes we finally walked to the front desk to pay for our coffee and leave. The service was nonexistent and extremely slow despite the limited customers. I felt compelled to join yelp and post this review due to my poor experience!!

    Do not eat here. With all the restaurants in Park City, you can find something better. The food was mixed, some good and some very bland. Service was very poor. Our waiter kept disappearing, food waited under the heat lamps for over 15 minutes. Refills never occurred. My wife finally had to hunt down the manager so we could get our check.

    Very unimpressed. A small group of friends and I went to this spot for breakfast, the service was terrible. Our waitress had to keep returning to our table to ask what we had ordered. I watched my food sit in the window for about 10 minutes, by the time it got to me it was cold. Not even warm. A small plate if cold eggs Benedict for $13, no thanks. By the time we got out checks, most of them were wrong, and it took 20 minutes to fix them. Definitely won't be going back.

    This was terrible, three of us waited for 1.5 hours for a sandwich, a pot pie that was just a bowl of soup with a biscuit on top, and a basket of fish&chips. Nothing complicated yet apparently still too tough for this poor business. Over priced, glacial service, and cold French fries with bits of chicken tossed in (not pleasant to find as a vegetarian). Never again! McDonalds would have been better and a 10th of the price!

    Showed up at 8 PM, seemed slow, only one table occupied. Stood for five minutes no one greeted us or sat us down. We walked towards the back to see if we could be seated. He told me the kitchen is shut down, grill off because we're trying to get out early because it's slow. I understand your pain cause I'm a lower middle class American my self, but that's pretty early to call it. Next time lock the door dudes. Turn off your open sign. I doubt it was a manager's call to clean up and shut everything off so early. And if it was the manager's decision I'm sure there is a lot more wrong with this place. This was my first and last experience September the 15, 2013.

    Pretty much ok all round not great and not as good as it was at the old location. Service and food ok price ok . Would not really go out of my way to eat there again .chicken was dry potatoes cold and tasted old .Upside they have beer on tap but limited selection .

    I gave Good Thymes three stars because sometimes it deserves four and sometimes it deserves one. I was eating at Good Thymes pretty regularly because you cannot beat the biscuits at breakfast and it is near my office, until my last meal and now I won't be going back. The service was always pretty bad, but the food made up for it. Now I am sure the $15 breakfast is not worth waiting nearly an hour for, while my waiter pours coffee in my water, forgets my juice and won't let me have anything, but carbs with my eggs. In the end my scramble was nothing to write home about and I left the restaurant feeling very unsatisfied. I would recommend dining somewhere else.

    This is a cute restaurant with a good location but the food is not very good. First off, it is GROSSLY overpriced (nearly $15 for a Cobb salad that tastes like it came out of a bag; you get the idea). The dishes are things you could make at home with better ingredients and larger portion sizes for 1/5 of the price. When I spend money eating out, I want something special I couldn't make at home! The service is hit or miss and usually spotty. Another pet peeve of mine is their menu -- you'll see a description of a dish (one salad says it is topped with "avocado" or "crispy corn," for instance), but then the dish will arrive and an ingredient that's touted on the menu is missing. When you inquire about the missing ingredient, you are always met with a shrug. Don't describe a dish and then not deliver what the menu promises! I've eaten here about a dozen times but I don't think I'll ever be returning. It's just too expensive and the food isn't good.

    I feel sorry for the waitstaff. They try very hard to take care of their guests. Unfortunately, as other Yelpers mentioned the food is nothing spectacular. It's ski resort food mostly prepared from frozen ingredients. We came up to Park City because "Sister Holland" needed to return a gift he got at a store in Tanger. It's Christmas break and every other restaurant had an hour + wait. There's a reason Good Thymes was able to seat us without waiting. Read the other reviews. If you're starving, can't wait for food at a more popular joint, and just want something to eat before you beat--I mean eat--your children stop by Good Thymes. Or if you're about to rip your partner's head off like a black widow spider eating her beloved hubby, stop in and grab a bite at Good Thymes. If you've only inflicted surface wounds on your brood then go elsewhere.

    So I tried this "bistro" dump again, with my 2 year old and wife. Didn't get waited on, but the people after us did immediately. Very dark, cold place with no real feel to it. Weird layout. Food sucks. I could turn that hole around in a week. Redo the interior. Owner must be independently wealthy to survive on no business and poor reviews. With that location ANY restaurant can survive.....except this one. Way too much competition in the area to settle for this place. Just like every other restaurant in PC they have food makers not chefs. Great location... piss poor execution. The absolute furthest thing from a bistro! Turn this place into something....anything else. Look at the last 6 reviews....means they'll be closing soon.....hopefully

    Thank god for Yelp. I had never been to Park City and I promptly got on my iPhone and opened the Yelp app. The choice to come to the Good Thymes Bistro was one of the best occasions during my short stay in UT. We had a personable waiter who gave us some great recommendations. Salt and pepper calamari was perfectly seasoned. We ordered some sweet potato fries and had plenty for 4 people to share. The chicken pot pie rocks. Perfect for the weary traveller who wanders in from the wintery outdoors. Have a couple of beers and then go for the s'mores. I'd definitely come back here again and force myself to try some other dishes. But... I'd have someone at the table order the things I've already had too.

    The food here is a joke. We were traveling through Utah on our way to Wyoming and stopped in Park City for breakfast. Not a lot of choices of restuarnats for breakfast in Park City unless you're in the mood for fast food chains, so we were glad to see a nice looking place with the menu posted outside. The atmosphere is about the only thing decent about this place. The host who seated us was barely pleasant, not real friendly. The serever, however, was very friendly, but very slow. Started us off with a couple of buscuits before our food arrived. I guess we should have waited for our breakfast since neither was served with bread, but we decided to eat them while they were still semi warm. A little heavy with a strong baking soda finish; thankfully they served them with honey butter which helped over ride the bad aftertaste. I ordered corned beef hash with sliced tomatoes. The hash consisted of very loose undercooked potatoes with a very small amount of tough chewy corned beef mixed in. Not a cohesive dish, just loosly tossed together, with no attemp at browning the hash. Terrible. On the side were a few slices of paper thin tomatoes. The only thing worth eating were the poached eggs. My friend ordered huevos rancheros. Here is where the joke really kept going. Two overcooked burnt corn tortillas, one with a couple of eggs on top, one with a few pieces of dried out overcooked beef on top. And some of the same undercooked soggy potatoes, but without the teaspoon of week-old corned beef mixed in. Nothing else; no beans, no fresh salsa, no cheese. Did not resemble huevos rancheros in any way. Although it's obvious that no one in this restaurant has ever attended cullinary school, you'd think they could at least watch a cooking show ever now and then. When the waitress asked how everything was, and I mentioned it was not very good, she just shrugged knowingly and said "Yeah, I understand". Seems we're not the first to say that. We did notice however that the bakery next door was bustling with people. Seems like the bakery next door is the place for breakfast in Park City, however we did not stay to try it.

    Stand-out bad service! The main problem was that after sitting waiting for our lunch for 50 minutes, we had not eaten a morsel of food. Our drinks had long been empty, and the server was flustered, over-busy with patio and indoor customers and generally unhelpful. After being told there was only one cook, a new person at the salad station and a broken printer, we were still hopeful that we would get something to eat. We were offered some burnt popcorn after about ten minutes of waiting. We declined. After being ignored by the other servers, the wandering host and anyone else working there for nearly an HOUR, I finally walked back to the bar and asked for the manager. My server said it was someone named Ryan who never came to talk to me, and then I was told to please sit back down. Completely insulted and very hungry, we guessed at the amount of our drinks, left a few dollars and walked out. Four ladies at the adjacent table heard how long we waited and also walked out. Not busy when Cafe Rio and Kneaders had lines out the door. Now we know why. Not a Good Thyme.

    We made the mistake of visiting this establishment for Sunday breakfast. One of the worst breakfast experiences my husband and I have had to date. The service was terrible (we got our coffee AFTER they had served our breakfast). We were ignored when we tried to ask where our coffee might be. The food was terrible too - coffee tasted like dish-water. My husbands eggs were way overdone. His hashbrowns were burned on one side and mushy on the other. My omelet didn't even LOOK appetizing. My "cheesy grits" looked like a vat of french onion soup instead of actual cheesy grits. To top it all off - this bad service and worse food is grossly overpriced. All in all a terrible experience. Save yourselves... don't go!

    Slow service but we were in a group of ten, nice waitstaff, kept coffee coming. French toast was much smaller than pancakes however, and prices weren't the best. But they had nice outdoor seating as well and were very accommodating for large groups.

    The atmosphere here wasn't my favorite: like a brightly painted cafeteria, but the hot wings were the best I had in Park City. They tasted like deliciously seasoned rotisserie chicken with moist chucks of tasty chicken on the inside and a good amount of crispiness on the outside. They came with three sauces: original, teriyaki, and a really yummy and unusual BBQ sauce.

    If not for the alcohol I could have had the same exact meal at Denny's for less than half the price. The nachos were very overcooked with hardly any cheese, the mashed potatoes were completely bland and their daily special mojito was awful. Pro tip: If there's only two people in a restaurant at 7PM on a Saturday, there's a reason.

    This restaurant in their new location is a big surprise. Their food is reasonably priced and really taste like home cooking. The staff is excellent, however, I usually ask for the same guy. If you love clams, they have a great clam dish, however, I can't get them to add more clams. They are pretty stingy in that area. They have a great artichoke appetizer and their biscuits are good and naughty for the waist! They also serve breakfast, which is the best so far that I have had in Park City in my 8 years here, however, I haven't tried Morning Rays, but for Redstone, they are awesome. If you are having a dinner party, picking up a couple of their appetizers, like the artichoke dish, will make your party a smash. You can sit outside and enjoy some local bands and their wine list is very good.

    Bad Thymes Bistro. Wish we had checked yelp before going, but it was a last minute decision on a Friday night to avoid a wait. That should have been our first clue... Noone in the place. 2nd clue (I even said to my boyfriend) they have a big menu this may be a mistake. I had a half order of chicken alfredo...so bland. It tasted like pasta tossed in butter, served with bland, dry more than likely frozen chicken. My boyfriend had shrimp & grits.. With only 6 not so fresh tasting shrimp swimming in a nacho cheese like sauce. Our server was terrible, he was difficult to understand, and slow. He was not busy and did not seem to care that our drinks were empty or that we were done eating and wanting the check. The other servers did more for us, filled our drink, cleared our plates, etc. Oh this awful experience costs us about $25-30 per person.

    I have been here twice and underwhelmed both times. Lots of things sound good but when you get them, they are just okay. I had the creamy pesto pasta with chicken. You'd think there would be pesto, right? Oh - there was a bland, sauce pooled at the bottom with a few shakes of dried basil flakes, but that is it. It was extremely bland. Our group shared the Artichoke Dip and it was ok - but has a citris taste to it and celery seed that was just plain weird. I have also had the Calamari which was tender but not seasoned at all. Thankk goodness for the sauce! The only thing that would make me go back was the Banana Cream Pie. Yum! The service we got the second time was great as well. Too bad the food is pretty sucky.

    The decor is getting better as time goes on in this little kinda cozy nook I mainly visit this place when Maxwell's has too long of a wait But I will say that if you're hunting down comfort food, this is the place The chicken pot pie is GOOOOO-oooo-OOOOD! So are the salads and the burgers and the meat loaf AND I LURVE the flatware chandeliers Sometimes, 45 minutes is too long to wait for a Fat Kid pizza and in that situation I love me some Good Thymes! Oh - and the prices are pretty decent too And the servers I've had have all been very sweet

    Food here was BLAND! I had marinated flat iron w/chimichurri and chile relleno and it was boring. The rice was undercooked and bland. The corn chowder was very good and the biscuits were okay w/the honey butter.

    Heard about their great chicken pot pie & fish & chips. First of all we had difficulty finding it since their website's map was not updated. The decor is basic, cold feeling with outdoor dining overlooking the parking lot with views of the surrounding mountains. The chips were great but the fish had a heavy tempura batter: more batter than fish while the pot pie was excellent. The chopped salad was boring except for the fried corn kernels & tasty Maytag blue cheese. Overall, it's pricey for what you get. our total bill with the least expensive bottle of wine was almost $100. Ridiculous. However, their biscuits were divine!

    Stopped in for breakfast with the girls. We all ended up ordering the scrambler, although each choosing different ingredients. It was just "ok", and I was not impressed with the 3 tiny slices of avocado that I paid extra for. Our server was pretty cool, very friendly. He made us feel welcome, asking us how we all knew each other and asking us about iPhone apps since he was about to purchase an iPhone and he noticed we all pretty much had one out on the table. They bring biscuits to the table instead of toast, and they were so good that we asked for more! Overall, I'd say it was just average, but maybe I just ordered the wrong menu item. I wouldn't mind stopping in again when I come back to Newpark Resort for another visit.

    Good Thymes is consistently decent, which is a moral victory in a ski town. I don't love the burgers, but the chicken sandwiches are always a good bet and their breakfast options are the best in the Newpark/Redstone area.

    We were in Park City for our daughters soccer tournament. I called the restaurant at 7pm on Friday night and asked for a reservation for 30-40 people at 9:30 am on Saturday morning. The owner said she would be able to accommodate us and have everything set up when we got there. We arrived at 9:30 the next morning and sat down in our reserved section. Kudos to the staff for having it all set up and ready for us! Apparently they were short staffed and only had 2 servers for our party. The ordering took quite a while with the large party (which turned out to be closer to 50 people) and the food took about 30 min to start coming out. When the food did come out, they did a good job of having complete tables with food so no one was left with nothing in front of them. I think there was only one ordering error on the servers part. Pretty impressive for a party of that size. We were in and out within 90 min. Not bad for such a large group! We appreciate the staff and owner for accommodating us on such short notice and on the busy Arts Festival weekend! My husband and I came back this morning for breakfast. We will be back again! Thanks!

    If I were rating their banana cream pie, I would have given Good Thymes 5 stars without blinking. Overall, it's a nice place to go occasionally. The food is decent - a little pricey for what it is....Expect to spend 10-15 on a sandwich or salad for lunch and 20-25 for dinner. (The pie unfortunately is $7.29 a slice)

    What a delightful place. Spent the earlier part of the evening at the new years fireworks show and showed up with a family and no reservation. We were seated immediately and were treated very nicely by the wait staff. The layout and decor of the place was very nice. We got a booth that was so comfortable that my kids did not want to leave. Menu selections for the entire family were plentiful. Let's face it, you are in Park City, prices will be a little higher that you would expect to find around the corner at home. Can't say enough about this place - was a very relaxing and delightfully satsifying meal after a long day. We plan on going back again this year and would encourage anyone else travelling to the area to add this place to their eating out destination list.
